	May Luncheon Event at the Fox Theatre & Baraonda Italian Restaurant on May 7, 2009 Join us for an exploration of the mysterious interior of the Fabulous Fox Theatre, one of the few remaining exotic movie palaces of the 1920's. Middle Eastern and Egyptian designs create a dreamlike spectacle of grandeur. Learn about the inspiration behind the Egyptian Ballroom, Grand Salon and Spanish Room, as well as the many other intriguing rooms within the Fox, without performance crowds. After the tour we’ll gather at Baraonda Italian Restaurant for lunch! (Baraonda is located just south of the Fox Theatre at 710 Peachtree St, Atlanta, GA 30308) Tour begins at 10:30 am (sharp!) Please meet in front of the Fox Theatre for arrangements. (if we have less than 20 people for the tour we may have to change the time to 10 am to join the public tour) For those unable to make the tour, please join us for Lunch at Baraonda. We will meet there between 11:30 and 12. Lunch will be served by 12:15 so that those having to make it a short lunch can eat and be on their way! (Lunch will be served by 12 if the tour has to be moved to 10 am) The tour is $10 regular and $5 for seniors. The lunch will be $15 for dues paying members and $20 for non-dues paying members. Your payment is your reservation for both the tour and the lunch and space will be limited, therefore make your payment soon. Please specify what you are signing up for (ie. Lunch & tour, just lunch, senior tour & lunch) All payments must be received by Thursday, April 30th.
	CARE AFFAIR 2009 Save the Date! Saturday, April 25th at 103 West The 26th annual CARE AFFAIR event is right around the corner and sure to be a night to remember! This year's event will go back to its roots with a cocktail hour, seated dinner and live auction. Once again, our procedes will support CURE Childhood Cancer and the Atlanta Chapter of Tri Delta's scholarship funds. Come support CURE Childhood Cancer at this great event! 	MARK YOUR CALENDAR – Sunday, May 3rd A Run/Walk to Benefit CURE Childhood Cancer *Would you be interested in helping CURE Childhood Cancer by just participating in a run?!* Join our Tri Delta & Company team! Come out and join your sisters, friends and family (men are invited too) by participating in Lauren’s Run. You don’t have to be a runner to participate and you can bring kids and participate in the 2k Fun Run/Walk or the Tot Trot! Lauren’s Run is in its 15^th year! Founded in 1992 in memory of Lauren Zagoria, a precious two-year old from Atlanta and continuing in memory of Lauren Kochman, Lauren’s Run has raised over $2 million for pediatric cancer research. This year’s Lauren’s Run will be held on Sunday, May 3 at Concourse Office Park (at I-285 and Peachtree Dunwoody Road). It will include a 5K Race (8 am), a 2K Fun Run/Walk (9:30 am) and a Tot Trot (10 am). All proceeds will benefit CURE Childhood Cancer! $20 to register prior to April 30^th! Our goal is to have at least 20 Tri Deltas joining in the fun! There's a catered picnic after and, of course, there's a t-shirt for every participant too! How do I sign up?!
