The Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association (AAPA) announces that it will award two scholarships of $1,000 each to high school senior women in the metro Atlanta area who demonstrate scholastic capabilities, leadership qualities, community service and plan to enroll in a 4-year college with NPC sororities on campus.

AAPA will continue to award two collegiate scholarships of $1,000 each and two alumnae scholarships of $750.  The winners will be presented on May 1 at our Scholarship Luncheon at Dunwoody Country Club.

If you know of any deserving women who might be interested, please have them submit an application.  The deadline to apply for these scholarships is Friday, March 26, 2010.  Details and applications for these scholarships can be found on our website at www.atlantapanhellenic.org.

The Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association has extended the 2nd Annual Sisters for Scholars Online Event to raise funds for scholarships for our collegiate and alumnae sisters.  Last year, we gave $2500 in scholarships, and this year, we hope to double that.  To accomplish this we need your help, and we have not reached our goal yet.  Scholarship assistance is the #1 priority our collegians have identified in this tough economy.

Here's how you can help:
Go to
https://co.clickandpledge.com/default.aspx?wid=25310 and make a donation.  All donations go directly to the AAPA scholarship fund to provide scholarships:
-  For young women who are currently members of an NPC sorority.
-  For sorority alumnae pursuing an advanced degree.
-  For high school seniors attending a college with NPC sororities.

Please, send this to every sorority woman you know:  your tennis team, your co-workers, your neighbors, the PTA moms. . . and ask them to donate, too.  Our goal is for every sorority woman to receive this email and to consider donating, regardless of their involvement in their sorority now.
Remember "all-nighters", study hours, and study buddies?  Please contribute to Sisters for Scholars and let's join together to raise money for scholarships.
Thank you for participating and for forwarding this campaign to your sisters.

Fraternally,
